  2. Click on the OK button.
  3. Next, select Nozzle Check and press the OK button.
  4. When the printer displays Load Letter/A4 size plain paper in the rear paper feed to start printing, click the Print button to print the nozzle check.
  5. Now check the nozzle check pattern and see if any lines are missing.
  6. Then print a second nozzle check to determine whether the print head needs cleaning.

Method 2 – Printhead Cleaning Cycle

 The steps followed in this method are:

  • First of all, remove the power cable and its vital parts.
  • Then place a folded paper towel along the side of the track.
  • Slide your print head directly onto a paper towel to clean.
  • Next, using a screwdriver, remove the printhead top cover.
  • Gently lift the ink cartridges and remove them from the side.
  • Make sure you don’t unhook any of them.
  • Now take the syringe with the cleaning solution tip just above the nozzle and gently push the cleaning solution through it.
  • Make sure to fit the paper towel snugly to the base to avoid damage.
  • Repeat the process with the other nozzle.
  • Once Your Work Is Complete.
  • Reinstall the ink cartridges to their original position.
  • Now proceed to the next method.

Method 3 – Run Power Clean

The steps followed in this method are:

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Press and hold the Power and Help buttons at the same time until the Power Cleaning screen appears.
  3. When does the screen power clean? Check that all ink tanks are at least one-third full; Click OK to continue.
  4. The power cleaning process will now begin. Do not turn off the printer during the process.
  5. Once the power cleaning process is complete, your printer will display a message; Press OK to confirm.
